MAC's Violetta is a red based lipstick from the professional

line. It's an amplified creme lipstick with a glossy sheen. Violetta is definitely one of those buildable lipsticks where you can start simple or end turning heads. It's definitely not as scary as it looks in the tube. I noticed small specs of shimmer with a pink undertone. Because of the undertone I'd recommend a purple liner if you want the tube color.
