Would You Rather Tag (Beauty Edition)
Hey Beauties. I took this tag from Mrs Beauty Junkie! Check out her lovely blog. If you do this tag, comment below so I can read your answers! PS. Expect a bit of rambling.
1.) Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?Oh dear, this is gonna be so freaking hard. Okay so I'd rather lose my eyeshadows because I'd figure out some kind of way to use my lip products for eyeshadow. It'd be impossible to turn to my shadows into mascara and lipglosses. Well for lipglosses I could use eyeshadow and vaseline but that's not the point!
2.) Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
I would cut all my hair because my hair grows so fast that within a few months I would have hair again.
3.) Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
Pink cheeks because I generally just love those so much more!
4.) If you had $1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
Makeup! I know I'm horrible...oh and if you haven't seen my $1000 makeup tag check it out here lol
5.) Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?
Eyeliner for lipstick! Lipstick just doesn't seem like it'd be a decent consistency for eyeliner.
6.) Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
AHH! What kind of horrible question is this? Okay umm let's go with Sephora. As much as I LOVE MY MAC, Sephora has way more brands and I'm sure I'd find MAC dupes.
7.) Would you rather only use one eyeshadow color or one lip color for the rest of your life? One lip color because I NEED my colorful eyeshadows and I remember in High School I only wore 2 shades similar shades of MAC lip colors(Pink Poodle & Flashmode) and I made it out fine hehe.
8.) Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter? Summer clothes in the winter. I can always layer my summer clothes, but I'd have a freaking heat stroke in winter clothes during the summer.
9.) Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?
I'm kind of indifferent about this one but dark nails because they can go with any color.
10.) Would you rather give up your favorite lip product or your favorite eye product? Favorite eye product, there's always an exact dupe for eyeshadow somewhere :)
11.) Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun? Ponytail..there's so many different style you can do for a ponytail!

$1000 for Makeup TAG!?!? I would buy...
I saw this beauty tag somewhere, I don't remember where but I think the total was $100. I decided to remix it to $1000!! I was thinking $1000 is a lot of cash and a lot of makeup. This seems tricky but I'm sure I can find something to buy with every cent of the money. I basically thought of all the things I'd like to have as staple items for my collection and makeup kit!
You'd expect some huge list, but in actuality this list really made me realize how costly us makeup girls can be when we want good quality products. There might be a few tweaks with this list because I hate having two or more of nearly the same product...IE. Yellow liquid liner by X brand and another almost identical yellow liquid liner by Y brand..to have both would be wasting space.
Can you imagine that I did zero product searching except for price & name check and the nyx lipliner names? All of these are literally items that I keep in my head as wants. I know..I'm insane. Plus you have to admit wishlists are awesome to keep just so you or someone else can refer back to them when shopping! **I've decided to use this as a guide for when I buy makeup, so I'll be crossing out items as I buy them**

Just that easily I went $26 over budget and I want lots more from KA'OIR. Just imagine how much makeup we'd have if we didn't have spending barriers. If you want to do this tag, Tag moi as the creator and tag a few friends!

Unfortunately I wasn't tagged but here are the questions!
1. Name a beauty regime that you rarely do.
I rarely do a facial scrub. I have tons of them, I'm just too lazy to actually do it on the regular.
2. Is washing your makeup brushes something you do regularly?
Okay let's be honest. When I use my brushes for about 3x, then I'll wash them. However..I purposely have alot of the same type of brushes from different brands for the VERY reason that I don't enjoy cleaning them hehe. I know that's cheating but...
3. How long will you last with chipped nail polish?
0 seconds! It will drive me crazy..either it gets repainted asap or I have to pick it off!
4. How long do you put off buying/replacing a beauty product or nail polish product even if you need it? (i.e purchasing a new topcoat, or a new foundation etc.)
Unless I have a similar alternative, I have to replace it Especially if it's something like my holy-grail foundation.
5. What is your worst beauty habit?
Biting my nails!!! I own so many polishes that I take to the salon to get my nails done with. I would love to take nail polish-fingernail pictures but my real nails just look awful. If you have any good advice for nail biting..PLEASE HELP lol.
6. Name something non-beauty related that you put off doing all the time?
Anything that has to do with my car. If it needs washing..I prolong the process as long as possible which always results in me going through the automatic carwash,which scares me! If it needs to be cleaned out or an oil change I will beg someone else to do it. Idk what it is about my car that pushes me away seeing that I am an Army girl and enjoy doing maintenance..
7. When going out somewhere, do you leave getting ready until the last minute or not?
It depends on the occassion, if it's something big then no. If I'm going on a date or out with friends then yes!
8. Can you commit to spending bans?
Yes, that I can do!
9. How organised is your makeup and nail polish collection?
With the exception of my messy train case..it's pretty organized. My makeup collection is the only thing I can keep organized.
10. What is the longest amount of time you have gone without writing a blog post?
Hmm..idk maybe a week or two due to extreme busy-ness!

Beauty Blogger (TAG!!!!)
Okay so perhaps it's 4am but hey who doesn't love a nice tag?
Why did you start blogging and how long have you been blogging for?
I started blogging because I wanted to share my love for makeup but I didn't know where to start and I've been blogging for about 6 months.
Whose blog did you fall in love with first?
I honestly don't remember whose blog I first fell in love with, I'm sure it was Elle & Blair or Dulce Candy's a few years ago.
What was the first blogosphere hyped about product that you bought? Was it worth the hype?
EOS Lipbalms! Literally, the beauty community went ballistic over these little eggs with different opinions and I had to find out for myself. I think they were definitely worth the hype.
What are you five favourite things about blogging and being a Beauty Blogger?
1. Being able to let out everything I have about beauty products without being judged because we all love beauty products here.
2. Meeting more beauty crazed bloggers from all over the world!
3. Now when I buy something new, it's like "ooh I love this, I can swatch this" Excuse much?
4. Receiving new products to try out and share them!
5. I literally get to talk about all the one thing I love..besides strawberries.
What have you learnt from being a Beauty Blogger?
I've learned just how intricate a product can be. Like when you review something..like a lipstick. Instead of a good or bad product, there's so much more. What's the finish? Is it sticky? How's it go for different skin tones? Does it hydrate? Any dupes? Where can you get it? It's just so much to a product than meets the eye and any beauty guru/blogger can tell you that lol!
Have you changed anything since becoming a Beauty Blogger?
Nothing really has changed. I'm still the same ole me!
What advice would you give to a beauty blogger just starting out?
Patience! Readers & pageviews will come. Just keep writing about what you love. Be honest about ALL of your reviews, you want to gain trust. Don't do the same type of posts, switch it up a little bit to keep readers interested.

I start this blog in July of this year but i've been doing different types of blogging since the 2nd second grade :)

4. Having an actual website that I can call my own and completely reflects me!

Real people actually look to you for advice and actually care about what you're writing.

I'm more conscious of the fact that everyone has an opinion and that's what makes us all different.

What's your favorite thing about Christmas?
The lights, the decorations and the coziness <3

What's your favorite makeup look for the season?
My Christmas look is red or green eyeshadow with black eyeliner and gold glitter liner over it. The entire season I'm wearing darks likes browns, purples and blues!
Question 3:
Real tree or fake tree?
Fake trees, the real ones are just too loud in smell for my liking.
PIC:My new lime green 22in tree for my bedroom with turquoise and pink ornaments! Thank you dollar general and family dollar. Everything totaled to $8.

Giving presents or receiving presents?
Okay this is tough, RECEIVING it's just fun to claim gifts haha but I do love picking out gifts and seeing excitement on faces.

Do you open your presents Christmas morning or evening?
Alot of the time I receive my gifts around the week of Christmas and I open them on the spot but when I'm home my presents are opened first thing!

Handmade Christmas cards or bought?
I love little handmade things from my little cousins but if you are of age please pick me out a nice card at a store lol.

What's your favorite Christmas movie?
This is hard! I'm going to with Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town. It came out in 1970 and it's like a tradition for me to watch it.
